I will put off adding or changing configurations as long as possible just to avoid losing disassembly/reassembly time. I'm ok with no hot swap, I don't need that kind of uptime, but it's a pita to change drives in one of these. That way you could remove the filter and get to the drives without all those extra steps. If I had designed the case (not that I have any expertise to do so), I would have spun the basic design of the drive module 180°, so the fan enters the bay first, then the drives, then the intake filter is flush with the front panel. Add additional steps if you have the case rack mounted or worse, you were dumb enough like me to just stack other systems on top.
To replace or reconfigure any drive, you need to open the top cover, press a tab, unplug and extract the drive module, remove/replace/reconfigure your drives, then reverse all this to bring it back online. I personally feel it has one major design flaw. Just my opinion, but I kind of hate this case.
